Please Help....No Start Problem on '93 940 900 1993

I could use anyone's help please. My wife's car is a '93 945 (no turbo) with 110K miles, and with the Regina injection and Rex 1 ignition. Periodically (maybe every couple of weeks or so) when the car has been run for a while such as when running errands, the car will not start...period. The fuel pump runs but it doesn't fire one bit. It always starts fine when cold. I have replaced the following items, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap and rotor, impulse sensor (RPM/crank sensor), and throttle switch.....to no avail. I can't figure it out. Might there be a bad ground, or I fear a bad Ignition Control Unit?

I'll add this....the other day it wouldn't start, and I took off the #1 spark plug wire to investigate whether or not it was getting spark....it was...and subsequently started immediately. I don't know if this was a coincidence or my fiddling with wire may have affected something. I will appreciate any help. Thanks a bunch.
