I'm not an expert on this, so maybe you should copy your message and post it as a new message. You'll probably get some better responses.

The ECT sensor could apply to your car. Bosch says this sensor is the most important one to the EFI system. I don't know what are all the symptoms that occur when this sensor is bad. Certainly one symptom is hard starting when cold. According to the FAQ, it could also cause flooding.

I'm only a backyard DYI, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
