Removal of instrument cluster 200 1989

Hello everyone. For an '89 240 how hard is it to remove the instrument cluster to gain access to the back of the clock to add a tach? I might also add the IPD white face gauges. Would someone be kind enough to give some instructions. I have the Haynes manual but I was wondering if I should take it to the mechanic or if it is job I could do myself in an hour or so. Has anyone else done this before? Are their any trick involved? What should/shouldn't I do? Thanks in advance. Joe
