Help Wanted: Pulsating Idle-->Possible Diminished Performance 200 1987

Hello Bricksters,

I have recently noticed that my idle pulsates rather than being steady. However, it pulsates in such a way that there is no fear of it stalling. Anyway, I seemed to notice this change in my idle after I had my Air Mass Meter (used) replaced by a shop. This followed an incident where my car refused to start despite its ability to crank. I basically want to do what I can to restore my car to its normal state. Does anybody have any possible diagnoses? Any help is much appreciated.

The 116K '87 brickster
