whoopeeee, it's FINE NOW (hot idle and injector caps). 700 1987

Hot idle problem gone!!
It was the injector caps. Yes, you can use the yellow new caps that come with the reseal kits. The base ring (yellow) has to be reused, it's also available at NAPA. The kits come with a bigger grey ring that does not fit. The caps just have to be in all the way, and you need a lot of force to put them in, NAPA carries them too for next to nothing. I had them in incorrect before, and thus the dying at idle. Lesson learned the hard way. Figured this stupid thing out after one week. Went through everything little thing, sensors, wires, ect. Very fustrating.

Now, it runs like brand spankin new. After a great new head, clean pistons, and some real clean injectors, new everything. It's sweet. I already grinded the starter thinking it if off while at idle.

I am sure the brown gooey stuff in the coolant is just dirt. Does not look like a gasket problem. I'll flush it soon.

Time for a Hieneken.

Once again, thanks for all the help. BB rocks.
