no wonder my oil pressure was up,flame trap was clogged like bong bowl !!! 200 1985

I put in a oil pressure gauge last week and the needle read 3 bar(@idle) when oil was up to temp.I thought this was high so I checked the flame trap and it was almost all the way clogged. The vacuum hose going to the intake was clogged as well.
Took the whole PCV unit into the house and cleaned thoroughly.Spent about 10 minutes reaming a paperclip thru every hole in the flame trap.Put everything back together and oil pressure dropped down to 2 bar @idle.
I didn't think it had been that long since cleaning.I have taken alot of road trips this winter taking my son all over Maine and New Hampshire to hockey games.
