Another Cold Starter - My First Problem. 700 1987

The ECU sits down by the footwell in an area that can be damp and at times salty. If your car is now running poorly after removing the ECU, consider that some of the electrodes might have become oxidized and your pulling them apart broke the connection. Get some Caig Labs DeOxIt spray from an electronics store, remove the connector, spray both sides and the back of the plug side, then re-connect. This should do it.
