Generator or regulator or ? 120-130

Hi Bob (again);

You might want to start by undertaking some preventative measures like cleaning up all of your major elec. connections under the hood such as battery, ground strap at frame, bolt at starter etc. How does your fuseblock look...particularilly F1? (Have you read Gas-Tight-Joint on SwEm site recently?)

Also, the battery itself may have a problem. If AMP light comes on, lights go dim, and engine misses, this certainly suggests your charging system is not putting out AND the system has low voltage, but the battery (if in any kind of state of decent charge, should hold up the system voltage) UNLESS there's a poor connection somewhere along the line...SOOO, you might have multiple problems...can you temporarilly attach a Voltmeter to battery directly to monitor its voltage - hopefully next time symtoms occur.

Cheers

PS: [You know what I have in stock.]
