Window regulator question 700 1992

posted by  someone claiming to be djtibb even though he really is djtibb on  Wed Mar 6 06:23 CST 2002 [RELATED]

I need to replace the driver's side window regulator on my 92 740. I read that I will need to drill out the old one because it is riveted in. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have a used regulator that rhaire was nice enough to provide but I think it may be for the older models. I'm probably going to take the door apart today or tomorrow and try to figure this thing out.
