waterpump replacement 700 1992

Randy..thanks for your quick post and good questions. I've noticed some coolant under the car lately and today after it idled for 10 minutes here in cold Michigan, the pump sounded like it was squealing. Opening the hood, I immediately noticed coolant on top of the pump. The fellow who put it in is anal-retentive about clean surfaces, silicon on the gaskets correct torquing, careful aligning of inlet pipe and its "O" ring etc. We replaced the pump when we did the timing belt, crankshaft seals and tensioner pulley. What else could it be? Local, high quality independant shop wants $210.00 without thermostat (mine is new) I can buy correct OEM pump for $50.00. I have most every tool but cant take off crank pulley to remove timing belt cover if I have to. What do you think?
