1990 740 turbo will not start/no power at fuel pumps

hello,
I've read a lot of post concerning cold start problems/no start problems and tried most.here's my problem the car was running fine great idle no hesitation good pick up and speed.parked the car after a day of normal driving, got back in to go to the store and no start.car turns over with no problem.
1-it has spark from coil
2-put new fuel pump relay
3-put new radio suspression relay
4-when you turn on key switch the fuel pump relay energizes
5-both fuel pump fuses are good
6-timing belt in place cams rotate
I tried this test while turning over the engine i put a volt meter on the fuel pump wires I get 0.0 volts DC.I'm STUMPED my guess is the timed ground from the fuel injection control unit, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance and don't judge my ability to fix the car by my speeling LOL!
