It's started! But there's still a problem... 200 1984

Well, my car started. The problem was there was a bad connection to the relay that tells the ECU to fire the injectors. SO that's fixed.

BUT, now that it's running, there's a slew of other problems, some of which need immediate fixing:

For one, the engine still revs itself when it's SUPPOSED to be idling. It's supposed to help if I clean the throttle plate. Any idea how to do that? I know where it is, but how do I access it, first, and second, how do I clean it?

Second (and this one's rather big), there's a problem when I'm accellerating. The car loses power somehow...the RPM, when it's supposed to be around two thousand, stays at below one--but you can hear the engine TRYING to accellerate. But this happens in all gears (none quite as badly as first, but it happens). It's gotten worse of late. It loses power, gains it, and loses it again quickly. Sounds something like this: RRRrrrRRRrrrRRR, only less predictable. That's you're TRYING to accellerate. The plugs and wires are new. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Volfro
