Generator or regulator or ? 120-130

See the past posting..."Charging Woes" My charging problem is fixed. I was resistant to re build the fuseblock, but I did it and it worked. NO more jump starting. I suppose that fitting an alternator would put out enough juice to overcome the voltage drops across the corroded fuse block, but then again I've driven other vehicles with generators that didn't need a jump, so a genny can do the job just fine if the mathmatics on output minus useage equals a positive number.

Thanks again Ron Kwas for the great answer
