Resolved 240 vibration, Driveshaft. 200 1989

Got and 89 DL w/224k on it last week. Changed a few things with good used parts, power steering pump, front strut assembly. Had a vibration, worst at around 50-55 mph range. Found it to be a distorted driveshaft, u-joints had been changed in the past and after i put in a good used one i found vise marks imprinted on the shaft. Apparently squeezed too tight whan the joints were changed. Put in the new one and now silky smooth at all speeds, Runs nicer than my 88 740 GLE with only 109k on it, Oh well, i've already got the 240 sold to my neighbor. Looking for my next project.......
