Did you buy a new 1993 240 sedan? If so, please respond to this. 200 1993

Had a brand new '84 245 (still have it, not brand new anymore). Even off the lot it had more road noise at highway speed than many other cars. Has gotten worse over the last 18 years. I don't really notice any engine noise per se until I hit about 70. It's probably drowned out by tire/wind noise and various squeaks 'n rattles from the cargo space.

Your '93 should have better soundproofing and window seals, so it's quite possible that the lack/reduction of road noise simply makes the engine more audible in the cabin. If it really bothers you, I believe that iPd sells a "hood quiet kit" that goes on the inside of the hood.
