@#!%&*#(?!! warning light 200 1989

I had a headlight go out-warning light came on like it should. Changed the light-warning light stayed on.Checked all the lights, found a rear bulb out.Changed that- light stayed on. Checked everything thing again...now a brake light was out.Fixed that ,made triple sure all the lights are working properly and that darn warning light is still on. Now,even with the lights off,it comes on when ever I brake-even though both brake lights (and the 3rd one)are working properly. As soon as I turn the lights on(by talking dirty to it)the bulb out light comnes on. Question: is there a way to reset the darn warning light-I don't want to pull that bulb out-or is this another Volvo quirk I'll have to learn to live with?
