Alternator Problem 200

Hey everyone,

I was changing my belts the other day, and when I put everything back together, the alternator was out of place. After taking the fan and shroud back out I saw that the part of the alternator that connects to the car via that really long bolt (probably the longest in the car) wasn't positioned properly. My problem is that I can't get the darned alternator to move so that the bolt will go through it. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm not sure if my description makes any sense, but if it did, and you have any insight, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Mike
