For 700/900 FAQ (Struts)? 700

Boge Trubo Gas front suspension struts, generally preferred at Brickboard, being sold in the USA now read "Made in Mexico" and do not look well made. I asked Nick Bauer at www.fcpgroton.com He confirms the above, but tells me he has Scac-Tech Turbo Gas struts made by Sachs (Sachs/Boge) in Germany. Other choices are Volvo struts (too soft for some at Brickboard) and Bilstein (too hard for some at Brickboard). There are new (touring?) shocks from Bilstein now in the market, but I know nothing about them. Perhaps places like www.shox.com have the German made Sachs struts too.
