literal tree hugger 700

You folk will appreciate this. A few weeks ago I backed my 745T into a telephone pole at the dump. I was going 2 or 3 mph so the only damage was that the the shock which holds the bumper compressed.

I borrowed a chain from a friend of mine to use to pull the bumper back out. I decided to wrap the chain around a large tree next to my driveway. I leaned up close to the tree so I could wrap the chain around it. So envision that I am pressed up against the tree with my arms around it as I pass the end of the chain from one hand to the other. Then I realized what this looked like, me hugging the tree with my Volvo a few feet away and was glad that nobody had a camera!

(oh yeah, the bumper pulled out almost to where it should be)
