Rear wheel bearing install 200 1983

I have two questions concerning a rear wheel bearing on my "Brick". I have a very loud grwol coming from the back end of the car and have concluded that it is a wheel bearing. the sound goes awayor at least is considerably less if I turn the car to the right. My question is which wheel bearing is this likely to be? The second question concerns the outer bearing race. My Haynes manual seems to indicate that the outer race is easy to take out. Is this true?
