A good cleaning of the Throttle Body, Idle Control Valve, Flame Trap, and associated hoses and fittings may be a good starting point. Then get into adjustment of the throttle stop and position sensor.

Just my opinion, but I prefer to take care of the simple housekeeping first, then move on to the adjustments.
