just looked at 93 'classic' 240, have some ?s especially about instrument panel 200

i just looked at a 93 classic 240 sedan. the car had an instrument panel the same as my mid 80s 240. i thought the 91 up 240s had a different instrument panel. i thought i remember a friend of mine who had a 91 with a different instrument panel where the gas and temp gauges read left to right instead of up and down on the older ones. i also thought the temperature switches were changed as well. this 240 was nice but not what I thought a 90s 240 was even with that wood paneling.
