How to remove Center Bearing from Driveshaft?!?! Help 700 1987

Follow the directions below. 'tis most important to mark the splined joint between front and rear sections. I also mark the yokes at the Ujoints. A brass punch and MFH work fine for me when I drive the old bearing off and the new one on. Careful to hammer only on the inner race-the part that fits around the driveshaft. Be sure to drive the bearing all the way on, until it seats against the shoulder. On the other hand, if you don't have a lot of experience installing bearings, you may want to take it somewhere. The job isn't too sophisticated, though.
