Gauge istallation on 1984 245 200 1984

Just recently pulled the gauges from a 83 turbo wagon....
I got a 5 bar oil gauge and a volt gauge...
When I removed the gauges they had their own wiring harness that was plugged into a connector behind the instrument panel....
After installing the gauges in my non turbo wagon I could not find the connector under the dash to plug the gauges into.....
Am I missing something.....
Any help would be appreciated....
thanks....
