You CAN take an M46 out of an 81 240 DL without taking the engine out!!

Got the new clutch in, and it runs like a champ! I also now have a factory M46 trans manual from Volvo. It was not needed at all. The advice from brickboard and the guys at work were all I needed. The worst part was muscling the trans back into place. (and I mean muscle!) I have yet to put the top bell housing bolt in...maybe some day I'll get around to it. Getting it out was fun... getting it can wait! A big Thank You to all who gave tips. Much appreciated.
