Magnefine filters

For a few days, I have been meaning to post about Magnefine filters and their USA distributor www.emerginent.com What an outfit! I called them regarding PS and AT filters for my two Volvos. The guy and the other end of the line nicely asked me for my phone number so Darrell could call me back because he knew most about applications. Sure enough, in less than five minutes Darrell called and spent all the time in the world discussing application of the filters, installation instructions, hardware, etc. He offered to send me hoses, smart fitting hose barb connections, clamps etc. with the four filters I wanted ($20 each, free shipping to Puerto Rico). In a couple of days, I received top quality hoses, fittings and clamps with the four filters. Together with these, came a business card with an offer to help from Darrell Pufahl, President of Emergin Enterprises. I also received from Darrell email follow up istructions and the offer to help any way I needed. I made a mistake when I ordered 5/16 inch diameter filters for PS. When I called Darrell and told him I made that mistake, he immediately put in the mail two 3/8 filters, even exchange with what I had. As you can imagine, I ran to the post office to mail him back the two 5/16 inch filters I had. Again, I had the filters in a couple of days together with a business card from Darrell and the offer to call if I needed help. You get this kind of service in NYC at the finest jewellers, if you are a good customer! Thank you Darrell. Fellow Brickboarders, if you have wondered about AT or PS filters, putting magnets in the ATF pan or PS reservoirs, and so on, do yourselves a favor and order some Magnefine filters from www.emergingent.com and follow straightforward installation instructions that come with the filters. You will be glad you did, from the word go. BTW, I cannot repay fellow Brickboarders with automotive technical expertise. So I post about good quality parts at low prices and top service. If people like Darrell serve me so well in Puerto Rico, then they surely will serve you better in the mainland. I also like to repay their top service with recommendations.
