Parts compatibility - 1988 to 1990 740 turbo 700

Parts compatibility - 1988 to 1990 740 turbo

At long last we have settled our pending insurance claim on a 1998 740 turbo that was totaled in a collision. We have purchased a 1990 740 turbo and have kept the damaged 1988 to salvage parts. The 1998 has a carefully rebuilt engine and head; distributor seal; new calipers, rotors brake pads; electric coolant fan; and tires. There is about 11,000 miles or six months use on the motor and parts. The tires were less than two weeks old.

We are interested in opinions regarding the 1998 parts that will work on the 1990.

Engine - It appears the block and head are identical. I presume if I switch, I will need to install the following 1990 parts on the block: intake manifold and throttle body; exhaust manifold, turbo and turbo oil lines; sensors.

Rims and tires - appears to be identical except for the visual style of the alloy rims.

Rotors

Calipers and brake pads.

Oxygen sensor

Other suggested parts to strip off?
