Speedo drive gear M41with type J OD 120-130

What is the correct speedo drive gear to use? The local volvo dealer lists 6 or 7 drive gears, I have to tell him which one. I just installed a 4 spd. M41 manual trans with a type J overdrive to a 4.11 rear end. I took out an M40 4 spd, same rear end, and the drive gear was green plastic (I don't know if that is important or not, didn't get a number off it or tooth count) The right angle drive is readily available to make up the extra distance to the speedo cable, but that doesn't solve my drive gear issue.
Any help will be appreciated. Jeff.
