BW35 to M410 swap 140-160 1972

I am in the middle of swapping an M410 for a BW35, on a 1972 164E. I found that the slot for the pilot bearing is not there on the crankshaft. Have any of you run into this - and if you did, what did you do?

2) This might prod me into rebuilding an engine. Where can I get a re-build kit, or do I have to go at it part by part?

Kent
