arm rest reupholstry revisited. Problem solved.(87-740)

Well, the brickboard was strangly silent on this one. I posted twice, got no response. So I forged, boldly, ahead.

Its the arm rest that is also a small storage unit. The top was easy.
I thought the box was a 2 piece affair, and I was trying to figure how to get it apart. Turns out Its only one piece. Key to getting fabric off: Pry just underneath the lip of the box and you will find rubber seal. Just gentle go around and pull the seal out, its attached to the fabric. Its really easy!

My wife used the same seal and attached it to the new cover(which she made)(she also made covers for the headrests). She then pulled the new cover over the box and stuffed the seal underneath the lip. It worked like a charm.

I hope this helps someone.

Lawrence
