flame trap location? 200 1979

i got your email joe. that was exactly where i was looking for the flame trap. is the actual flame trap supposed to be inside the black plastic piece or is it the actual black plastic piece. i took that appart and the thing is hollow, i thought there was supposed to be some kind of screen(the flame trap) inside of it. the airbox had a bunch of oil in it, so i thought the pcv valve was broken, but it turns out there isn't supposed to be one. so now i'm thinking its missing the flame trap. you think that's what it is? thanks for the help joe.
