rear end sagging 900 1994

My 960 sedan rear suspension is sagging, and the self leveling system (nivamot?) cannot support any load when i have passengers in the rear seats. i want to change/repair the system myself; however, i cannot seem to find the "how to" information. this suspension is not covered in any aftermarket book that i know of, and volvo will only sell the whole service manual/module, which costs more than the car. can someone help me in finding the information required? i suspect i will need to replace the nivamot system and the coil springs. any advice would help.

thank you
