flame trap location? 200 1979

ok, i think i get the jist of where the flame trap is supposed to be. any ideas of where to get one? i know ipd sells them in a kit with a hose and the black plastic piece. do you think they'd have them at a kragen's or riebes type store? oh yea, in the pic you sent me, joe, of your engine compartmment the larger hose that comes off the black plastic piece looks like it goes under the intake. on my friend's car (the'79 242 i'm working on) that hose goes to a hole on the top of the airbox. a family friend did some work on the car and i'm not sure if this person knew what they were doing, is that hose supposed to go there? thanks again.
