leaking injector 700 1987

I had my 740turbo in the shop and the mechanic said that things looked good. I kept smelling fuel, so I checked the injectors and one was leaking. I went to volvo and bought the kit, comes with several donut type rubber seals and a tip cap, and a plastic ring.It did not look exactly like waht I took off but figured the dealer should know, I called to confirm hte part number and it matched up. I got it changed, fairly easy especially with good lubricant on seals. put it back together and of course still leaking. I took it apart again to confirm it was seated well, it was and it is, put it back together and it still leaks, before I take it apart again any suggestions on why it would still be leaking?
