strut insert comparisons 700 1987

Search Brickboard for comparisons. From what I remember, Bricksters who know prefer Boge Turbo Gas, firm but not harsh compared to Boge Automatic but not hard like Boge Pro Gas. Expensive Bilsteins are favored by those who prefer to trade off a lot of comfort for better handling and roadholding, otherwise hard on less than perfect roads but less so than Boge Pro Gas. I cannot recall any reports on econonmy Bilsteins. I found Boge Turbo Gas now sold in USA look less than well made and come from Mexico. Perhaps, Sachs (Sachs/Boge) gas strut inserts made in Germany are the same as Boge Turbo gas made in Germany. I have found all those and Boge Nivomats rear shocks cheapest at www.fcpgroton.com The most knowledgeable (but expensive) supplier of Volvo suspension parts is probably www.ipdusa.com Perhaps you can order from fcpgroton or ipd through the mail and avoid Canadian prices and taxes. From my experience, I suggest you think twice before you put in your car strut inserts or shocks other than Sachs/Boge or Bilstein made in Germany.
