Weird Airplane Noise 200

Hi,

recently my '81 240 I have owned for a few months has started to make a weird noise like there is an airplane flying over the car. It does it all the time, even when the car is sitting idling. It used to stop after a while, but now it doesn't.

Also, sometimes when it hasn't been driven for a few days, when my brother goes to put it in reverse, it does nothing, and then suddenly jerks into gear. The tranny fluid looks fine, but the dipstick seems over the max (when car is cold). The tranny was already flushed a couple of months ago...
