Idle problem 900 1994

940 Turbo - when I put the car into park after a drive, the idle drops to about 500, then bounces up to 800 or so, then fluctuates between 600 - 800 for 15 seconds before settling at about 750. Doesn't happen any other time - other than this the idle is consistent. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
