new to the volvo world 140-160

hey all

I'm really new to volvos and restoring cars in general but bought a 142s from a friend about a year ago. when it would no longer pass inspection in virginia i thought i would start resoring it and have come across a few problems.

first i think it is a 68 but the person who sold it to me said it was a 69 can anybody who knows the differance tell me how to tell

and second i need to find some good parts sellers and a complet list of parts for the car so i will know what it is i need if anybody out there could help i would be most gratfull.
