Timing problems 200 1989

I think my 89 240 is having some timing problems.

First a recap of parts I've replaced.
Used Air sensor
Bosch O2 sensor
Used 951 ECU
Timing belt (rechecked it that it is istalled properly and on the mark)
Volvo Crank sensor
Volvo Temp sensor (I'm sure its the one that goes to the ECU)
Volvo FPS
Bosch ignition cap
Bosch rotor
Bougicord wires
NGK plugs

Basically I've been around the world with this car.

So today I decide for spits and grins to put on my timing light to see if the mark on the front pulley aligns with the marks on that plastic housing.

I let the engine warm up and run the idle up to and down from idle and the timing mark never even gets close to being in sight. Not only that the car always acts like a cylinder is missing or misfiring. With the timing light connected it confirmed a miss because the light would go out for a hair of a second at around 2400+ rpm when the inductance thing was connected to cyl#1.
This is a 240 with the EZ 116 control module.
So far the only things left for me to replace would be the following.

Coil
Knock sensor
That ignition control module thing at the front of the inner left fender
The throttle sensor
The idle control valve
The ignition control module (under the dash)

Is it possible the coil is faulty causing this miss?

Lastly the plugs are darkened but the tips or light.
I used the LH diagnostics unit and it reported that my crank sensor is faulty. !!. Something is really screwy with this car, I am making some kind of progress though because when I bought the thing it didnt run at all but still its driving me nuts that I cant figure out this last piece of the puzzle.
I also suspect that this thing has some kind of overall electrical problem because the upshift arrow for the overdrive sometimes is turne on when I start the car and other times it isnt. When it is turned on the light will fluctuate according to the miss at idle. When its off it will (sometimes) fade out starting at 3000 rpm, in unisyn with the rpms of the engine.
I checked the grounds and on the surface they appear to be fine.

I could really use some help on this.

Thanks for your continued help,
Steve M
