shocks for 91 740 700 1991

The wifes 91 740 needs shocks all around. I won't mention how many miles are on the origionals but lets just say the car rides like a hay wagon. Nothing fancy needed here, just recomendations on a set of "standard" shocks will do fine. Just for my info, do companies like Monroe make Volvo compatable shocks? Many thanks!
