strange vibrations 200 1984

I have an '84 242, and there are a few wierd sounds I was wondering about:
First, as I accelerate, there is a rattling. It is only when I physically press the pedal, I could be going the same speed and no rattling. The rattling increases in volume, the more gas I give it, regardless of speed. I suspect a noisy fuel pump, ?
Second:

When I am in gear (Drive, 1st, 2nd, Reverse) and stopped, there is pretty loud vibrations and noises. Does not do it in Park or Nuetral. I am almost positive it is the power steering. When I am in gear and stopped and I turn the wheel, the vibration will get louder or quiter, and at some points it will whine. The mount on the Power Steering looks tight, it is full of clean fluid and steers very good when I am moving. Any suggestions of the problem, the why, and the fix?

Thanks,
