How to take apart the flame trap housing on a 960...? 900

Tom:
I can pull out the whole trap housing from the hose without a problem - the problem I have is that I don't know how to take the housing apart to get to the flame trap plastic piece to replace it with a new one...I had 740, 940 and the housing looked a lot diffrent - this one is a lot bigger and you cannot really see the plastic piece like on the 740/940...the housing has a small hole in it through which i can see the plastic trap piece, so I know I have the right thing, but I don't know how to open it...I can take a picture of the housing if it would help...
THANKS !
