240 starter won't 200

Ignition switch: traced the wiring back to the switch, removed the switch, checked Haynes wiring diagram; shorted from terminal 30 (hot) to terminal 50 (ignition) and the engine cranks. Ordered new switch from volvoworld ~$30.
Still don't understand the starter wiring though...
