1989 240DL Oil leak 200 1989

I am buying a 1989 Volvo 240 DL that has 200,000 miles. It is in very good condition and the engine is sound. I noticed on the test drive that oil is leaking out around the filler cap. Perhaps a 1/2 teaspoon after 20 miles.

When the cap is left loose on top it "jiggles" and when you place your hand over the opening you alternately get positive and negative pressure.

I am sure some of the leak is caused by normal wear on the engine. But, I suspect that some part of the emissions equipment is partially plugged and the intake vacuum is not purging the crankcase.

My question is what does Volvo use to draw pressure from the crankcase?
Should I just add a new gasket to the cap and not worry about it any further?
