"With regard to PBRs, I used to be a huge fan and defended their anti-fade characteristics untill swapping posts with John Lane who challenged me to go out on the highway and do a high speed brake or two (60mph or so to zero) and sure enough, the PBRs were crap after that, and have never performed to my satisfaction since, and in fact get alarmingly unreliable on any downhill run now."
