a little rust and some nicks/scratches, repaint? 200 1991

if you're going to take it to maaco, make sure to fully prep the body yourself first. paints relatively cheap compared to the labour. my car didn't look too bad when i bought it, however i've already put 8 or 9 days into fixing up the body & i'm maybe a third of the way there. mind you, my flat head screw driver has a knack for finding hidden rusty spots that could have been left alone and i'm lucky enough to have a full body shop to use on weekends =)
how did you change a section of your rocker panel ? my passenger side panel has a few small holes in it.
grab a spray bomb of primer & gold wheel paint and see what you can fix up in your spare time. if you clean & prep the metal (rust converter), take care of whatever was causing the rust any bondo you put on the surface will outlast the car.
