Another stinking timing belt question 700 1992

I'm planning on changing my timing belt this weekend and I've been reading the FAQ extensively. Do I need this Volvo Special Tool 5284 or can I adapt something else? Should I try one of the other methods mentioned in the FAQ? Do I need any other special tools? I'm changing the drive belts, all three oil seals, timing belt and tensioner, and essentially the entire cooling system outside of the block. Also, what should I use to clean out my intercooler and how? I didn't see this anywhere in the FAQ but I know I've seen info on this before.
Thanks
Don Tibbetts
