Hard starting volvo? 200 1976

My 244 has had a hard starting problem for a while now, when I try to start it when cold, it cranks for a bit and then when it finaly fires it seems only to do so on 1 or 2 cylinders, like it's not getting enough fuel?, slowly it builds and then finaly runs on all 4.
It's usually prity fine when it's hot (maybe up to say 10mins after you shut it off), allthough can do it again if it's been sitting a while, and the only other problem is that it tends to idle a little rough, but apart from that runs quite fine and has plenty of power.
One last thing though, and that is the main fuel pump, it's noisey, and I now the pump is good because I replaced it, and I know it's not the pre pump because there is no pre pump on 76 244's in Australia.

So anyone care to take a stab at this one?

I personaly think it's the accumulator, and I'm kind of trying to decide wether I should go out and buy one or not, but before I do I'm very interested to hear what some other people think about this. :-)
