Plastic Caps on Injectors?

what color is the base ring. I think all injectors are suppose to have the caps (89 240 does). Check with a dealer. Check to see if the caps are still in the holes. They normally break once you remove them, so it's possible that someone did not put them in.

Put the caps you got with the kits in. Do the injectors have an indented ring on the ends (next to the nozzle), for the caps?

Place them on a flat surface and apply a bit of a force to pop the caps in. The nozzle (pin) and the cap hole should be flush.
