1990 760 keys 700

I need keys made for my 1990 760 turbo but have had difficulty in finding a shop that can make the keys I need. The car has a rectangular type of key with grooves into the rectangular shaft rahter than having a rough top and bottom. I tried to get keys made at several places and was told they couldn't accomodate me and I would need to go to a dealer to get the keys. Is there anyway around the hassle and price of going through a dealer?
